He came to Argentina to work as a fattore (agronomist), bringing with him the winemaking knowledge acquired in his homeland, where his father, Francisco Rutini, made homemade wine, a common practice of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Felipe Rutini built the winery in Coquimbito, Maip\u00fa, the first wine-growing area of Mendoza, and over time established himself as one of the industry&#8217;s leading figures.
